Conventional textiles with integrated sensing and energy generation features

Using different materials for the production of melt-spun fibres, it is possible to create fibres that can, for instance, generate energy, measure the impact force or the deformation of the structure in which they are integrated;

Field application:  Two of the possible applications are the creation of wearables that can measure the breathing rate of the wearer and measure of deformation of composite materials in which the textile structure can in integrated;

Added value: These fibres have the same properties as conventional fibres, and their integration in textile structures does not change its mechanical properties;
