Open Day PE Eurecat
Open Day Printed Systems for IoT Low Power Electronics. October 20, 2022 | 9:15 am – 2:30 pm (streaming Spanish - English)
Events

Due to the big growth of the IoT and wearable devices in different environments, like environmental monitoring, or point-of-need testing for healthcare applications, among others, the demand for self-powered devices and sensors rises, as well as for cheaper and faster methods of fabrication. The current research on printed electronics paves the way for design of low cost and flexible devices for harvesting applications. The primary way to obtain self-powered devices is to focus on energy harvesting through sustainable power sources, like thermoelectric, solar, piezoelectric, RF, etc. In sufficiently low power applications, these energy sources may even eliminate the need for batteries, reducing even more fabrication costs and pollution.
